What to expect

As a DevQA Engineer you will be responsible for executing test cases, writing bug reports, and ultimately ensuring that everything works before a project or feature is delivered. You will be the last stand before code is sent into the wild, nothing will slip past you.

What is required?

  • B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of test-automation experience.
  • Ability to perform testing against web based applications both from the front-end UI as well as back-end databases and API.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Experience managing and running test cases using test case management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of QA concepts and deep experience in test design, debugging, and execution.
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills - you're poised, articulate and convincing.
  • Experience in Ruby on Rails is an asset.


  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured modular test designs, test plans and test cases.
  • Create, document, execute and maintain test plans to perform functional, load and performance tests for large-scale, complex software systems.
  • Design and implement test automation programs.
  • Perform end-to-end / integration testing between E-commerce system and third party systems.
  • Improve existing test infrastructure to expand regression coverage.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand business requirements and architecture of software systems.
  • Report issues through a formal bug tracking system JIRA and work with the engineering team to help isolate, debug, and resolve issues/bugs.
  • Develop modular, reusable and maintainable automated tests to be integrated into existing automation framework.
