What to expect
The SEO specialist’s job is to ensure that key elements of the client’s site, including search engine optimization, and site configuration are optimally setup. The SEO Specialist analyzes, reviews and implements changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines as well as provides strategic guidance to our customers to ensure that all content is SEO friendly as well. In addition, understanding the client’s objectives and KPIs, the SEO Specialist will assist the Account Strategist in identifying opportunities for the client to improve their online business.

This position is located in Montreal, Quebec. Our culture requires all members of the team to commute to the office as this is where you will be interacting with the other developers & project managers. Working from home is possible when needed however in person communication with the team is incredibly important for our clients and our culture.
What is required?
Strong communication skills
1-3 years experience in ecommerce business related website optimization
Experience with Google products; Analytics, Tag Manager, and Webmaster Tools
Driven, passionate, and an ultimate team player
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
Maintain and consult on on-site SEO best practice including but not limited to sitemap, robots, content strategy
Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Provide internal resources and customers with guidance on SEO best practices
