To address Loopy Cases' challenges and enhance the customer experience, we implemented a comprehensive solution focused on streamlining the product data model, simplifying navigation, and guiding users towards the perfect case and accessories for their devices.
Simplified Product Data Model: Consolidated the case catalog to one product per case design with phone variants, transforming a previously complex system of individual products into a streamlined structure.
Optimized Navigation with Filtered Views: Condensed the number of collections by using filtered views from the navigation, allowing users to easily switch between phone models from the same page.
Guided Phone Model Selection: To simplify the phone model selection process, we implemented several key features:
- Pre-Selected Variants: Users arriving from search or product listing pages with a specific phone model are now automatically presented with that model pre-selected.
- Visually Clear Options: Product options are highlighted with a Loopy green background and organized using intuitive pills and side panels for easy viewing.
- Smart Filtering: Side panel models are filtered by brand, reducing the number of options users need to browse.
- Visual Confirmation: Variant images change to visually confirm the selected phone model matches the user's choice.
Enhanced Accessory Selection: Enabled variant image changes when a selection is made to help the user confirm their selection matches the accessory color, type, or pattern.
